We need 60 volunteers total for Sat and right now we have about 45. We still need 15 more people so let us know if you have anybody else that might be interested in pouring beer on Saturday. Please arrive at noon sharp for a FREE lunch and a short info session on pouring procedures, rules, etc.
Also we will try to group friends at same table or tables next to each other. Some people we did not have emails because you stated that you had a group to work so please convey this email to them. The tables should be setup when you arrive by the beer companies but we might ask you to help them finish up setting up the table. There will be people from the beer companies at some of the tables talking about their beers. You can hit them up for t-shirts, etc. too.
The event is from 1pm-6pm in Smyrna Market Village. We will let people take an hour break to enjoy the event. Please use discretion in your consumption. Please do not drink at your own table.
We will have people stocking and icing the beer at your table throughout the day. If you need more beer or ice please let this person know as he comes around to your booth periodically. Also please put empty bottles back in the cardboard cases. It helps us out tremendously when we are cleaning up.
Please do not ice down any more beer after 5pm. Just try to pour everything that might be left at your booth.
We plan on having 1-2 volunteers per table pouring 4 different beers. We will have around 27 beer tables at the event this year. The most yet! We will have 7oz glasses which everyone can get at on Saturday. Please bring a bottle opener if you have one too. Dress comfortably. Weather will be in 80's throughout day.
Parking: A great & close place to park is church lot next to the village.
At the end of the event we will have some FREE food (Zucca pizza) & beer for volunteers from 6pm - 7pm right in front of Atkins Park.
